The head of a German rail union warns that the country’s train system is turning into a “battleground” thanks to a wave of violence and intimidation being unleashed by male asylum seekers against female staff.

“And unfortunately, I have to say it like this: It is mostly young men from the initial reception center who misbehave completely on our trains. They always travel in groups and feel strong together.”

“Our people are afraid, very afraid. We have employees who say: If these groups are on the train, then I won’t check tickets. Then, they say they’ll stay at the front with the train driver or lock themselves in their cabin until they get to a safe station and they get out,” said Recknagel.

“How can you expect citizens of this country to be open to the refugee policy that is being practiced when it happens — practically every day, and not just on public transport! — that we have to witness such violence, brutalization and absolute contempt for our laws and society?”

The influenza, also known as the bird flu or H5N1, has recently started spreading among cattle and other species. One person in Texas has had a confirmed case this year.

“The real worry is that it will jump to the human lungs, where, when that has happened in other parts of the world for brief outbreaks, the mortality rates have been 25 percent,” Dr. Califf said. The worry is based in part on how viruses typically mutate, such as in the case of COVID-19.

While the risk is still low, “if we institute the countermeasures now and reduce the spread of the virus now, then we’re much less likely to see a mutation that jumps to humans for which we’re ill-prepared,” Dr. Califf added.

Products of Last-Minute, Secret Negotiations Must Not be Approved

The World Health Organization announced on Friday that its negotiators had failed to achieve agreement on a final draft of the proposed Pandemic Response Accord by the declared May 10 deadline. The announcement prompted some to believe that the treaty was “dead” and no longer likely to be approved at the upcoming meeting of the World Health Assembly (WHA) from May 27 to June 1. Not so.

Before the day was out, the WHO clarified that the deadline had been extended for a further two weeks to continue formal and informal negotiations. In other words, the effort to buy support from various nations will be redoubled behind closed doors. It remains to be seen if any of the disagreements that have precluded the completion of a Pandemic Treaty to date will be resolved in time for the upcoming World Health Assembly meeting through such secretive and corrupt wheeling and dealing.

What is already clear, however, is that the extension of the negotiation’s deadline will have the practical effect of all but eliminating any opportunity for nations to review, analyze, and debate the final text before it is rubber-stamped by the WHA.

The same game will likely be played with the other WHO treaty now in the works. It would amend existing International Health Regulations for the same purpose as the Pandemic Treaty: transforming the WHO’s Director General into a global health dictator. Negotiators haven’t finished that text, either. They are supposed to meet for that purpose on May 16-17.

This sort of diplomatic bait-and-switch is necessary because only by subterfuge and deception can the “global governance” these treaties are intended to create be imposed on the American people.

Avian flu viruses have decimated commercial poultry flocks in the US, and because pigs are known to catch bird flu viruses, swine have been closely monitored for signs of infection – but cows weren’t on anyone’s radar as potential hosts. He notes that this is early research. But he said the findings are also important because no one had really looked to at the susceptibility of cow tissues to influenza A viruses before.
